The Uplands Outreach Programme was formed in 1994 with the objective of partnering with schools serving previously disadvantaged communities and to help overcome the disparity in educational standards.

Operating in conjunction with Uplands Prep School and Uplands College, who make available their facilities and expertise, it is a non-profit organisation which depends on support from large corporations and the private sector for its survival. We enjoy Section 18A tax status and are a Section 21 company.

We work with primary and secondary schools in Mpumalanga, especially in the White River, Nelspruit, Hazyview, Kabokweni, Bushbuckridge, KaNyamazane and Mariti areas, and have a congenial and productive working relationship with the Mpumalanga Department of Education.

Vision and Mission
Uplands Outreach aims to develop a healthy and sustainable community through education by co-ordinating and implementing educational enrichment projects in response to the expressed needs of the community. This is achieved by partnering with relevant stakeholders and making effective use of all available resources and expertise.
