Academic Honours

2011

The Annual Honours Evening was held on Thursday, 21 October 2011 in celebration of the achievements of our pupils and in acknowledgement of their contribution to the success of the College. The address of the Headmaster, Mr Clarke, was an honest and transparent review of the school.

What we really enjoyed was Mr Clarke walking through the campus with a camera and his informal interviews with our pupils (à la “Blair Witch Project”). He asked our pupils questions about the Uplands values, about acceptance and about the environment. It was so refreshing to get an honest account of what the pupils think and say about these topics. It was insightful and very encouraging to know that we are doing a fantastic job
